I Cucali is a small, design-led B&B on the seafront promenade in Porto Recanati, created inside a restored former fishermen’s house.

Atmosphere and style: The property leans into a curated, “found-object” aesthetic with limewashed colors and carefully chosen details, giving it a boutique, lived-in feel rather than a standard hotel vibe.

Rooms and comfort: I Cucali has three double rooms, each with a private bathroom and a distinct look. Bedding is a highlight, with wooden slats and handcrafted cotton mattresses and pillows, plus natural-fiber linens.

Breakfast experience: Breakfast is presented as a key part of the stay, with a careful selection that includes organic options, juices, coffee, plant-based milk, yogurt, muesli, and homemade cakes.

Location for beach days: Being right on Lungomare Palestro means the sea is essentially your front yard, ideal for quick swims and sunset walks. Guests can also access discounted beach umbrella and sunbed arrangements at a partner beach directly in front.

Walkable Porto Recanati: Shops, bars, and restaurants are close by, so evenings are easy without needing a car—especially convenient after a long day by the water.

Parking and arrival: The promenade is pedestrian-only and the entrance can’t be reached directly by car, so luggage handling may take extra effort. There’s no private parking, so you’ll rely on nearby streets or a municipal lot in peak season.

In-house flexibility: The kitchen isn’t available to guests, which may matter for longer stays or travelers who like to self-cater. Fridge use is only available on request.
